by September 30th. That's about 25 minutes per night on an average month (just 18 minutes per night for Aug/Sept). You will receive a grade for this independent reading!!! Read

We'll set up our Writer's Notebooks and start building our writing stamina with a writing project or two. We'll also begin learning the art of writing essays.

This Month...
In order to become master
writers will make sure we know our parts of speech, and can tell a subject from a predicate. We'll review the rules for quotation marks, and number use, and commas.
